Yarn over and pull through the stitch (three loops on your hook).
Yarn over, insert your hook into the second stitch.
Yarn over and pull through the stitch (five loops on your hook).
Yarn over, insert your hook into the third stitch.
Yarn over and pull through the stitch (seven loops on your hook).
Yarn over and pull through all seven loops to compete your half double crochet 3 stitches together.
