This is my documentary that won 1st Place in the Senior Individual Documentary Film Division in National History Day Korea 2016. The film revolves around the founders of the Hewlett-Packard Company–William Hewlett and David Packard–and their journey to founding and growing their startup company.
First, the documentary explains the encounter between these two young men as colleagues at Stanford, and then moves on to talk about their exploration in areas of innovation and company management styles. Finally, the film concludes by applauding Hewlett and Packard's devotion to a non-hierarchical company structure that allowed for a facilitated exchange of ideas and eventually the prosperity of HP in the late 20th century.
