Описание: Dr Waheed Arian’s interest in becoming a doctor started whilst he was suffering with tuberculosis as a child refugee in Pakistan, after fleeing the Taliban. Using his experience as a refugee and knowledge from being a doctor, he founded Arian Teleheal, a charity which allows doctors working in warzones and low resource countries to consult with expert clinicians using technology. He also founded Arian Wellbeing to look after people's mental health needs, which are often overlooked.
