Intro: I got into plus size modeling at an age when some people stop modeling. I was twenty four turning twenty-five. I had moved out to Los Angeles, and I was pursuing acting at the time. When I got out there, people kept saying “You’re too big, you’re too big. You’re so fantastic and talented, but you’re too big.” And I was going to the gym all the time, so I said, “Well I can’t get smaller.” And the economy had crashed, so things were slowing down, and then all of a sudden somebody said, “You’re so photogenic, you should pursue modeling.” I said, “I’m too big,” and they said, “No, plus-size modeling.” I was like, “What?”
