On this relaxing day in Ranong, we explored the peaceful area around Thansila Resort and discovered why we keep coming back to this underrated Thai town. We visited the Ranong Hot Springs, just a short walk from the resort, passed by the Namnong Hot Spa, and stopped for a smoothie at Fire Bear Cafe.

We also took a look at the Raksa Warin Arboretum. It was closed during our visit, but the area is still beautiful and worth adding to your Ranong itinerary.

If you love natural hot springs, quiet streets, local cafés, and destinations that feel far from the usual tourist crowds, Ranong deserves a spot on your Thailand travel list.
