This Time we went for a short-day ride from Kathmandu to Dapcha. Dapcha is a village in Kavre known for being a trade hub between the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, and the eastern part of the country.
It is said that people as far away as Bhojpur would come to trade with people from the Kathmandu valley. Dapcha carries historical significance in terms of trade and culture. But now it is almost abandoned, with dilapidated houses standing aloof in the hills of Kavre.
This time we've tried to cover a short part of the big historical story of Dapcha and had pleasant encounters with warm locals.
