What this video covers

Why I’m speaking now: I was publicly accused of “stealing a gold mine.” I dispute those claims and present my side, documents, and witnesses.

Who we are: My family is a genuine creditor of Zakarpatpolimetaly (Ukraine’s principal state gold-mining enterprise). We have no criminal cases in Ukraine and have spent decades trying to stabilize and restore the enterprise.

Background (1990s–2010s): From the Ukraine Polymetals program (“Ukraine’s Gold,” later expanded to titanium) to the formation of Zakarpatpolimetaly’s operating subsidiary. When the company headed toward bankruptcy, we financed it (via our then-Polish bank BPG) to keep it afloat.

2019 and after: Exercising creditor rights, we initiated sanation (court-approved rehabilitation) to restore Zakarpatpolimetaly and revive Carpathian mining.

The last six years: I describe what I consider a campaign to discredit me and our company; alleged schemes involving unlawful licensing and asset stripping; and attempts to block rehabilitation and benefit rival claimants - plus other criminal activity.

Named parties discussed: VZ (Vitaliy Zakharchenko), Carpathian Ore Company (COC), Avellana Gold / Brian Savage, Nikolay & Vladimir Gozhik, Valeriy Bredikhin, Oleksiy Gromchakov, and others.

What the courts actually decided: a halt to sanation — not a ruling that erases our creditor status.

On so-called “investments”: claims around illegal land leases, unpermitted construction, and activities unrelated to lawful mining — contrasted with our objective: restore the enterprise lawfully.

Why this matters

Ukraine’s non-ferrous metals (gold, lead, zinc, silver) are strategic national assets.

The public deserves clarity on who is a creditor, who benefits, and what is lawful.
