Beads of Courage UK and Ireland was born out of John’s own experience as a father after his son, Ted, was diagnosed with cancer at just six months old. John explains. "Each bead is a milestone of what each child has endured and what they’ve had the courage to overcome. These beads empower the child to tell their own story."
This conversation also highlights the exciting expansion of the Beads of Courage UK Siblings Programme, which ensures siblings of children undergoing cancer treatment are supported and seen, helping strengthen family bonds during challenging times.
