[EN] We are proud to announce the coming of Vurvarat within the sect of Atavism Records. This mysterious and occult project comes from the depths of the french Underground and will release it’s first album "Theurgia Mortem" in digipak to a coming date. The original postulate is to create a sinister music with occult atmospheres that blends with dismal and labyrinthine ambiances that gives a true harmony to this new piece of Black Art. The work is oriented to spiritual path where only music reigns rather than the common the shallowness. Vurvarat has been influenced by the melodic way of Ondskapt and the sepulchral riffs of Mortuus, this gives you and idea of the band’s orientation, as musically as well as theological. No live, no identity. The horde focuses on its strength, namely, music to offer a work totally devoted to its Art consonant with their beliefs. The artwork has been done by JDW Death is my only Friend. Mastering by H from Ibex Sound. This first opus of the clan doesn’t bother with superficialities. You’re warned.

[FR] Nous sommes fiers d’annoncer la venue de Vurvarat au sein de la secte Atavism Records. Ce projet énigmatique et occulte est né des tréfonds de l’underground français et sortira son premier album "Theurgia Mortem" au format digipak à une date annoncée dans le futur. Le postulat originel de Vurvarat est de créer une musique sinistre aux atmosphères occultes se mélangeant à des ambiances tourmentées et lugubres, tout en offrant une véritable harmonie à cette nouvelle pièce d’Art Noir. L’œuvre est orientée sur une démarche spirituelle où seule la musique a sa place permettant ainsi à l’auditeur de se focaliser entièrement sur la musique plutôt que les artifices habituels. Vurvarat a été influencé par le sens de la mélodie d’Ondskapt et par les riffs sépulcraux de Mortuus vous donnant ainsi une idée de la direction suivie par le groupe, tant artistique que théologique. Pas de rituels live, aucune identités dévoilées, le groupe se concentre uniquement sur ce qui fait sa force, c’est à dire sa musique afin d’offrir un édifice totalement dévouée à son Art et en adéquation totale avec ses convictions.
