You must, by law, comply with the New Regulation if it applies to you.
From April 2021 any private rented property that is occupied must comply with the new mandatory requirements for electrical testing.
With fines of up to £30,000 for not complying with the new Regulation it is of immense importance that landlords and electricians understand the requirements.
In this video we discuss the key points of the new Regulation and the correct electrical certificates that must be completed for each property.
What are the actions that a landlord or letting agency must take in order to stay on the right side of the law?
