Thanks to @psychoswift2655 for recommending this one!! It was so great. Today, we're looking at Right Where You Left Me for our Taylor Swift lyrics analysis so we can see how she crafted this song.
This one was a great picture of how to write literally vs. figuratively because Taylor starts figuratively and gets more literal as she moves into the narrative later on. The fun part of this Taylor Swift lyrics breakdown, though, is that we don't know how literal she's really being. Are we getting into the realm of a ghost story? Or is it just meant to be hyperbolic?
