Friday Night Funkin' is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group consisting primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[5] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.

The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.

The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020. An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.

SML (2007–2021; 2021–present) – formerly SuperMarioLogan, a black comedy puppet web series created by an American YouTuber Logan Thirtyacre. Aside from other puppets of original characters, the show originally used plush depictions of Super Mario characters and sometimes IP-based characters from other franchises like Shrek from the titular franchise and Woody from Toy Story. As the series gained popularity, especially among children, SML faced controversies surrounding its use of adult humor and stereotypes on marginalized groups of family-friendly characters. In February 2021, Logan received a cease and desist letter from Nintendo due to unauthorized use of Nintendo's intellectual properties, causing him to eventually delete many of the videos from his channel; however, Logan continues to publish videos without using Super Mario characters and sometimes still uses IP-based characters as he hasn't received a cease-and-desist letter from other companies.

SML Movie: Jeffy's Endless Aethos, was a mod created by Slingmingo (under the alias of Jeffyfansml99), komsmatik (under the alias of sveltepathos90), and trolmongus. It is a horror mod based on the popular web series SML (formerly SuperMarioLogan), more specifically a parody website called SMLWiki.com, but with a few creative liberties. In the mod, Jeffy drinks an eight ball of coke, and is possessed by an entity, turning him into a twisted version of himself known as "Jerry".

Slingmingo was the original owner of Jeffy’s Endless Aethos. However, he was later exposed as an alleged groomer and racist, which led to widespread backlash within the community. Due to these serious accusations, he was removed from the project entirely, and any association with him was publicly cut off.

As a result, development on the original version of Jeffy’s Endless Aethos was halted, and its direction was reevaluated by the remaining team members. His removal marked a major turning point for the mod's future, setting off a chain of events that led to the project being split and reinterpreted by new leadership.

Despite his removal, Slingmingo later went on to create Ethos Logos Pathos, a spiritual successor and personal retake on Aethos. However, due to his controversial history, the project has remained largely disconnected from the broader modding community.

The mod was released on April 3rd 2024, the mod got instantly popular, a V2 was planned, but ended up getting cancelled because of controversies surrounding jeffyfansml99 (Who was revealed to be controversial creator Slingmingo). Since then, several attempts to revive the mod through ownership changes have been attempted, none of which have been successful so far.

SML Movie: Ethos, Logos, Pathos!, or abbreviated as ELP for short, is a mod created by Slingmingo, that acts as a hard reset of the original Aethos mod. It is a semi-joke mod completing her vision of what the original Aethos was, with only a few songs carried over from the old mod and a lot of new song ideas. The mods' aesthetic will be based off SMLWiki, which is made with PNGs and other mixed media, acting more like an SML fangame than a FNF mod.

The main week's plot with Jerry (An alternate version of original Jeffy) will be based on what was previously planned in Aethos V2, looking at Introduction, as well as the story for Pathos.
