No fly caster can get by with a single casting stroke, as line length, rod size, fly type, wading depth and even fly line designs change. These variables mean that as a fly caster gets better, they should have the ability to change their casting stroke as they run through these variables.
In this video Simon sets up one of his casting games, called "Flip Flop", which at first glance sounds utter madness, but in reality is one of the most effective ways to get the feel of casting strokes changes.
