When I took down the wallpaper in my girls’ bedroom, I wasn’t expecting to find anything interesting. But tucked beneath the last strip was a quiet little surprise: a soft, dusty color that hasn’t seen daylight in over 150 years.
In today’s video, I’m trying to recreate that lost shade using traditional milk paint — the same kind of paint they would’ve used when the house was first built in the 1870s.
