DESCRIPTION
"Molly on the Shore" is a composition by Percy Aldridge Grainger written in 1907 as a birthday gift for his mother. It contains two Irish reels, "Temple Hill" and "Molly on the Shore".
This Wind Quintet arrangement is closely modelled after Grainger's own arrangement for Military Band. It is an exuberant piece, although can be very demanding for the Wind Quintet!
Have fun with the lively and relentless melodies, as well as cascading chromatic scales!
