Описание: In 1964, East Germany built a 3,850-ton bucket wheel excavator to feed its coal-powered economy. 171 meters long. 50 meters tall. Painted blue. They called it "The Blue Wonder." For 37 years it stripped the earth in the Lusatian coalfields. Then the Berlin Wall fell. The mine closed. Three towns tried to save it. They moved it 8.5 km to a field near a racetrack. Then they ran out of money. Vandals stripped it. The internet made it famous. The government declared it a monument — and walked away. It's still there. Rusting. Unprotected. The largest abandoned machine in Germany, protected by law and destroyed by neglect. This is its story.
