This is why we asked the public to share their most inspiring moments with us.
We received over 1000 photos, drawings and illustrations.

A collaboration supporting young talent
What is humanity? A question that students from all over the world depict on the largest canvas in Switzerland.
Their projects explore our primordial human feelings and the question of who we are.
The 13 art and design students created a total of 12 audiovisual projects over the course of a semester.

A celebration of life
The final chapter of the evening shows a sequence of important moments from the history of our planet and humanity. It deals with our spirit of innovation, diversity and resilience.
The international DJ and composer Worakls has specially composed a piece for this project, which he realized in collaboration with the Basel Symphony Orchestra.
