Practical skill: Pillar Drill
Warning you must wear safety goggles designed to EN166 1B standards.
Place material in jig or clamp and secure workpiece.
Make sure goggle and guard are down to prevent sawdust and bits of wood going in to your eyes.
Turn on the machine
Drill using a up and down motion to clear the sawdust.
After drilling return to its original starting position and stop the machine.
Wait for the machine to come to a complete stop.
Make sure 1 person is in the yellow box.
