Tea & Moonshine is a model train comedy filmed on the club layouts of the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders, Bunker Hill Train Club, and Eisenbahnfreunden Donaueschingen. Other locations featured include The Strasburg Railroad, Victoria Station, Paddington Station, The Vienna Train Station (Vienna, VA), Rhine Falls, The Swiss Alps, Downtown London, and a GWR passenger trains. Except for the finale, no green screen effects were used. The model trains used are either HO Scale or OO Gauge.

Tea & Moonshine was a 2 year project created by Jimmy Lambert, who wrote, edited, narrated, and filmed the vast majority of the serial. The on-location European shots were taken by Sebastian Daverio and Felix Schmidt.

Many members of the model railroad clubs Tea & Moonshine was filmed at loaned models for the purpose of filming. These include: Claude Crump, Sebastian Daverio, George Davidson, James Robinson, Cameron Fischetti, Felix Schmidt, Conner Randolph, and more. Thank you!
