Six border communities between Kano and Katsina States, Shanono, Tsaure, Goron-Dutse, Ungwan Tudu, Ungwan Tsamiya Fururuwa, and Dodona, have accused the Katsina State Government and the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of enabling bandit attacks. Residents allege that a peace deal in Musawa Local Government of Katsina has allowed terrorists to operate freely, using the area as a launchpad for assaults on neighbouring Kano villages. News Central’s Emmanuel Bagudu visited the affected communities in Shanono, where locals shared their fears and frustrations.
