December 3, 2022: Departing Glasgow, home of the "Montana Bar", the Amtrak Empire Builder continues westward through Montana cutting a straight line along the Milk River's "silly string" path. Running past Tempico and just west of Vandalia the landscape turns from vast praries to snow covered hills before returning to wide open land west of Beaverton. Continuing on through Saco, the train passes through Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge and makes its way into Malta.
