Off-road adventure just got REAL, y’all!
Jared @Wildwestexplorations8097 and I (the Kansas Princess 👑) fired up the Jeep and tackled the long, bumpy, but ABSOLUTELY worth-it JACKSON CABIN / MULESHOE RANCH ROAD TRAIL deep in the Red Field Wilderness of Arizona!
We rolled straight through the massive Muleshoe Ranch Cooperative Management Area — 55,000 acres of rugged beauty, lush riparian zones, and pure outdoor magic. This special land is cared for together by The Nature Conservancy, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management to protect those unique ecosystems and the endangered species that call it home.
The drive was pure joy: winding through tall cottonwoods, splashing through mud puddles, crawling over boulders, and following twisty paths that led us to a sparkling desert stream. Along the way God blessed us with the best wildlife show — a speedy roadrunner (meep meep! 🦜), sunning lizards, wild turkeys, and graceful deer — plus the most gorgeous California Poppies lighting up the desert like golden sunshine! 🌼✨
The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and the historic Jackson Cabin is so interesting — a true hidden Arizona treasure!

These trips mean everything to us, especially the ones where we pause for a bowl of chili in honor of our son DaKota. Thank you for being part of our adventure family. We read every single comment and your kindness fills our hearts more than you’ll ever know.
