Italy has shown a lackluster performance in the war as so far, Italian troops under-equipped & low morale has shaken the dream of the new "Roman Empire"..
The invasion of Greece was a disaster that required German intervention which aggravated Hitler..

With all this in mind & his populatrity plummeting, Il Duce must rerstorn Italys' honor... He unveils "Operacion Mars" By summoning up the most idealist fascist Italian black shirts, party fanatics, & coupling these troops with the elite "Decima Mas - Legione X" Commando's" (the predecessors to modern day Navy SEALs) a powerful Italian invasion force is assembled.. This in conjunction with some newly designed Italian Armour.... the stage is set for an all Italian operation to strike at the heart of American shipping; the Brooklyn Naval Yard.. The Italians by sheer luck were able to disguise the cargo ships with Canadian markings with a manifest from Spain to Nova Scotia.. However in the night fog over New York Harbor, the Italian ships deployed landing craft & lowered troops & units into them by crane, setting the stage for a Maritime mass sabatouge action at dawn.. Supported by an Italian "T-Boat" sub fitted with a rocket launcher & torpedo armed fast attack craft of the Decima Mas X.. The Italians were able to pull off a 2nd "Pearl Harbor", by destroying U.S. Naval vessels in port.. The Legiones of Mussolini's army roll out of the swampy beaches of Brooklyn..

The Italians are quickly met by alerted U.S. Naval Auxilary forces with light armor.. However the fast moving Italian light armor is able to cut off the road & stall reinforcements from entering the base.. meanwhile a 2nd contingent of Battaglione "M" makes their way into the Naval Yard & engage U.S. Navy Sailors & Armed Dockworkers..

The Navy calls in a frantic alert in to the U.S. Army base of Fort Hamilton & a powerful counter-attack force is assembled.. The Italians miscalculated the U.S. response.. Although much of the shipping & the navy yard is damaged, the American troops storm the base & force the Italian troops into a retreat back to the Brooklyn marshes.. by the end of the battle, two Italians are able to make it back to the landing craft to retreat..

However due to the element of suprise, the shaking of American confidence, & the heavy damage dealt to shipping & the naval yard.. It is clearly an Italian victory..
