Jon Richardson announced he was taking a break from stand-up comedy in a video posted on Instagram, but that news was later followed by an announcement that he will be playing a teacher on the next series of Waterloo Road.
After taking a break from stand-up following his split from wife Lucy Beaumont, the comedian, 42, has revealed he will not be returning, and instead will be acting as a teacher on the BBC drama.
