I remove the sound deadening from my MK3 Ford Focus RS! This gains extra sound from the engine/intake which is super cool (think that whooosh kind of sound) and costs literally no money and takes less than 5 minutes!

This mod for the Focus RS is also leading towards another mod coming in the future - can you guess what that may be? ;)

Before I remove the RS sound deadening, I address what I see often in forums and groups on the internet where there is always someone who claims that doing this is going destroy the paint on the bonnet and/oe set the engine on fire or other such nonsense. I give some very credible (in my opinion) reasons as to why this mini mod is safe and you can do it if you want to do it - don't listen to the internet trolls!

The reasons are routed in Mountune instructions, Mountune actions, Ford warranty approval and Ford dealer actions so if you want some extra theatrics from your Focus RS (or indeed most other cars) then I say go for it!
