Описание: I present a very special video for me, because it is a very significant work in my career, which over the years I have directed more than ten times in Argentina, Italy and Austria. It is the Mass No. 16 in C Major KV 317 ‘Coronation Mass’ by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

It is the work I have conducted the most. This recording documents the second time I conducted it, in the Cathedral of San Isidro in Buenos Aires, Argentina, no less. The first was the day before at the Centro Cultural Plaza, home of the Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Gral. San Martín, province of Buenos Aires.
Given the participation of the prestigious San Isidro Cathedral Choir, it was only natural that a performance should also take place in such a representative temple of Buenos Aires.

Speaking of the other performances, I must also mention the one that took place in the inner church of the Colegio La Salle in Buenos Aires, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth. Then I performed it twice in Italy, in Umbria, in the medieval town of Narni as well as in the neighbouring Terni, in the framework of the festival ‘Eventi Valentiniani’. Other performances took place in Vienna in the Church of St. Charles where for 12 years I had the honour of being Chapel master, Composer and Cantor.

In this video I set out to take you to Salzburg, whose Cathedral was the scene of the premiere of the work in 1779, possibly on Easter Sunday of that year.

Mozart's hometown gave occasion to present photos and paintings of the city, which show it in all its historical splendour. Since I recently visited it on a trip in 2024, I am also showing my own photos taken from the Hohensalzburg Fortress as well as from other perspectives such as the interiors and surroundings.

At the same time I also offer photos from the Cathedral of San Isidro in Buenos Aires, where the recording of the 2004 concert took place. I also include some photos of the concert, showing not only the performers but also the large audience that filled the Cathedral, who were possessed by the beauty of this sublime music of the genius of Salzburg.

I hope you enjoy this video, which represents a true homage to Mozart's most famous Mass, to Mozart himself, to the cathedral and to the city of Salzburg, which I tried to present as comprehensively as possible.
