August 28th marks the 62nd anniversary of the historic March on Washington, when 250,000 people gathered at the National Mall to advocate for civil and economic rights for African Americans.
The day is remembered mostly for Martin Luther King's dramatic and now-infamous "I have a dream" speech. But that's not the only reason why this day should be studied and remembered.
