► On May 22nd 2017, when 22 people were killed in a terror attack on a concert at Manchester Arena. Today, a report found that at least one of those victims, Jon Atkinson, could have survived if the emergency response had been better. He lay injured for more than 45 minutes before any paramedics reached him.

The report is the second set of findings from the public inquiry into the attack. Specifically looking at the emergency response to the bombing.

The conclusion was that while individual responders showed great courage, overall the response was far below the standard it should have been.
