Finding fish can seem impossible at times, but with a good Fish Finder, you increase your odds. Most MFDs come with an internal built-in Fish Finder and all four of the systems we test have internal 1kW CHIRP Fish Finders. The question is, how well do they all compare and which systems have the features that you need the most?

In part 1 of our Fish Finder comparison, we take a look at how each of the units performs in deep water. We run all four boats out to the Marathon Hump, where we have water going from 500 feet to over 1,000 feet.
