The Blackbuck National Park in Velavadar is one of the last remaining sanctuaries for this enchanting antelope. We had the opportunity to visit this park and see these beautiful creatures. They were once hunted for their elegant horns but now their primary threat is habitat destruction. Blackbuck is the state animal of Andhrapradesh, Haryana and Punjab.
