A beautiful aerial flight at sunrise showing New Brighton lighthouse, the River Mersey and Liverpool. New Brighton Lighthouse, or Perch Rock Lighthouse as it is known is a Grade II listed building. The 28.5 metre (95 foot) high structure sits at the tip of the Wirral Peninsular, in Merseyside UK. Made of Anglesey granite it is painted white with a red painted lantern. It has a 25 foot ladder to reach the doorway. The present lighthouse was first lit in 1830 and in constant use until decommissioned in 1973.
