A Triumph Bonneville T120 and the North Coast 500 - Scotland Tour Day 3.

Описание: The final day of riding my Triumph Bonneville T120 around most of the North Coast 500 route in Scotland.

For the last night of my Scotland tour I decided to stay in a cheap but nice Air B&B on Skye. I needed an electricity socket to recharge all my camera gear so camping for the last night wasn't a practical choice.

With roughly 450 miles to ride home, it was an early start. Thankfully I'm an early riser so empty roads and a stunning morning sky was a beautiful reward for getting up while everyone else was still snoozing.

The ride down through the west coast of Scotland is incredible, worth journeying to Scotland for in its own right. The whole place is a motorcyclists dream, but Glencoe is a particular highlight. I cut the video when I reached the popular biker meeting place, The Green Welly Stop, as this marked the point for me where motorways and busy traffic would be imminent.

If you're thinking of doing a similar trip, I highly recommend going earlier in the year before the summer crowds overwhelm the small Scottish roads. April and early May are still a little cold so far north, but the roads are empty and the midges haven't awoken yet, it's biking heaven.
