Описание: Bexar Branches Alliance is a Texas nonprofit dedicated to planting an equitable urban forest canopy in San Antonio, Texas. In this video, the nonprofit's CEO, Jaci Randel, describes several tools that can help communities determine where to plant trees in cities to equitably distribute the ecosystem services they provide. These tools include an Urban Forest Inventory Analysis by the state Forest Service, a Tree Equity Map from American Forests, and the USDA Food Access Research Access, which helps identify food deserts. All these tools can help determine where and how many trees to plant to ensure that all the neighborhoods in a city have access to trees and the many health and climatic benefits that they provide.
