In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Hold The Mine (Playtest Steam Next Fest). Hold The Mine is a Dwarven Strategy Survival mining game with a Meta Progression and Base Defense Auto Battle elements. Your goal is explore and mine resources in the Mine during the day time and defend the Mine from monsters invaders at night. Search for blueprints to build something useful. Find Heroes trapped in cages to get them to help defend the mine. Each heroes have special abilities that you can unlock with Runes. Uncover Ruins to build one of your blueprint buildings on top of them. Gather the resources needed used to construct the blueprint buildings. Survive long enough for your Dwarven Reinforcements to arrive. Hold the Mine shares some similar mechanics as "Drill Core", "Craft the World", "The King Is Watching", "They Are Billions", "9 Kings", "Creeping Dusk", "Wool at the Gates", "Kingdom's Deck", and "Super Fantasy Kingdom". The day time phase for build and gather resources with night time phase for monsters attack is similar to "Cataclismo", "Age of Darkness", "Darfall", "Night Is Coming", and "Diplomacy is Not an Option".
