Today, December 16th 2025 marks the 42nd anniversary of Michael Mann’s flawed horror-dreamscape masterpiece, The Keep.
The Keep is a personal favourite of mine, and in the last 2 years, we’ve been bestowed a brand new 4K scan of the movie from two separate labels.
This is Imprint Films' spectacular limited edition release that comes with a hefty replica replica cross alongside an assortment of extra materials. Included are reproductions of the theatrical poster, press kit, film script, a reprint of The Keep graphic novel, a disc containing the score by Tangerine Dream and most notably, the premiere of a years in the making fan produced documentary called “A World War 2 Fairytale: The Making of Michael Mann’s The Keep.”
