Описание: In the municipal solid waste management “Processing" is an activity by which solid wastes are transformed into new “more acceptable form” or recycled “product/s”. The basic objective of processing is to transform the segregated waste component/s, individually or collectively so as to derive useful product, to have material recovery or to enhance efficacy of next element to manage MSW. This video is an educational resource and is focused on definition & scope of activities, Components of MSW processing, Waste management hierarchy- Source reduction & reuse, Recover & Recycle; current recycling practices in India. Here as one learns the content, he/she will be able to explain scope of activities under MSW processing; explain elements of MSWM hierarchy & state current recycling practices in India.
