I’ve spoken extensively in my videos about the differences I’ve had with my parents. If my audience thinks I’m getting 'too close' to my father, I ask you to try and understand my perspective. I was simply showing gratitude for what he did, especially considering he is nearing 70. Driving in 43°C heat under the sun and eating as little as I do is not easy at his age. I was showing my appreciation for that effort.

You might ask what the specific difference of opinion was. It started when I was trying to pay for my 2024 Skate IDSA membership via PayPal. Both my debit and credit cards were repeatedly declined on the website. I REACHED OUT TO MY POPS / FATHER, HE REFUSED TO GIVE HIS DEBIT CARD VIA PAYPAL TO GET ME A MEMBERSHIP.. I reached out to long-distance skating groups on Facebook, asking if anyone would let me transfer money to their PayPal so they could pay on my behalf, but no one stepped up to help.

The only person who helped was Scott Zeigler. He sent me an alternative PayPal ID for Skate IDSA, and fortunately, my debit card was finally accepted. If not for that moment, I wouldn't be on the Skate IDSA virtual race list, and I wouldn't have been able to put India on the map for long-distance skating. I am grateful for how things turned out because the money for that membership originally came from my 'Pops' as my monthly allowance.

My TIP : Much like a wounded puppy, even when humans hurt me, I still choose to learn how to put my Trust In People one more time.

I took many precautions this time for LTDL Stage 04 2024 - Target being 42.2 KMs.
My intention is only to complete not compete...
I am incredibly grateful to my Father, who spent 9 hours out in the sun with me, and to my Mom for all her help from home. Despite my differences with my parents , I / we tend to stick together.
The ride was a great experience—it felt casual for the first half (up to 21.35 km), but became extremely challenging during the second half as I pushed to finish 43.85 km.
