Today, we said goodbye to Hanmer Springs and enjoyed our last morning walk along the peaceful Crawford Walkway, located behind Kakapo Lodge. The walkway offers a calm and scenic route surrounded by nature — perfect for a quiet morning stroll before heading home.
After a simple breakfast in Hanmer Springs town, we drove back to Christchurch, which took about three hours. Before going home, Isabella wanted to visit New Brighton Pier to try catching some crabs. We used chicken bones as bait and caught a few — some were too small, so we released them back into the sea.
For dinner, we enjoyed Hawaiian pizza with homemade cabbage kimchi, followed by grilled Korean rice cakes and corn for dessert. It was the perfect ending to our short family trip!
