Taken from a demo tape recorded by Vincent who at the time was in search of a new record deal.
Specifically, this and three other songs were recorded at Garland Recording Studios at 565 Rose St NE in Salem, Oregon on May 13th and 14th 1969. Theses track were recorded and mixed by Gary Nieland, who also plays drums on this track. Claire Bruce plays keyboards, and Sandy Weedman contributes to background vocals, but beyond this, other background vocalists and musicians are unknown. It is also unknown who wrote this particular song, as no credits exist.
The song was not released at that time in any form, and sadly Vincent died about two and half years later on October 12th, 1971. This demo has been released several times over the years, but this version was transferred from the original tape in late 2021, and from there I have done my best to make a DES mix. The original balance of the instruments is a little off, and Vincent's voice appears to be off mic at times, but it's worth hearing this rare piece of history!
