So, after the full video version of this video got taken down falsely due to copyright, I thought I would try another way in order to get this performance up onto this platform. And, that was by using the uploading all songs separately method so, once again Sydney 1976 can finally be on my channel again which is always a positive as, I’d definitely recommend this performance to all that are interested in the 1970s performances of Billy’s live career along with this being one of the best shows of the decade in my opinion.

As mentioned above mildly, this performance in Sydney is an excellent one and features Billy in great vocal shape throughout the show, with some of these performances even being better than or, coming very close to the renditions heard at the Greenvale concert a year later which is also a fantastic show. Along with these great vocals, we also have a tight band performance which definitely showcases how good the 1976-77 band could be while performing at concerts in this era. All of this happens to be backed up by a fine radio broadcast as well which results in a very pleasant listening experience for those wanting to get into 1970s shows for Billy.

Highlights from this fantastic show include the following performances: Somewhere Along The Line which is an excellent performance from Billy and his band while also being one of the best ever airings of the Piano Man album track. James which is a very nice rendition of the Turnstiles song. You’re My Home which is a song I really enjoy hearing at these Billy shows no matter the era. Say Goodbye To Hollywood which is one of the elite renditions of the song and Captain Jack which also follows the trend of being one of the best 1970s renditions of the song.
