The Malaal actress reveals the 'schoolgirl' comment on Aditi was a part of a roast and expresses how she maintains mutual respect for all her co-stars including Aditi, Sanjeeda. She also thanked Richa Chadda for supporting her and explaining how interviews were taken 'out of context' but she also says she's disappointed that no media outlet was ready to highlight that, leading to cause even more online hatred for her. Along with this, Sharmin shares how her family has stood by her and also justifies the statement she made on Meena Kumari looking into Nothingness in Pakeezah and reveals that it was completely misconstrued and twisted by a section of the media.
