A small voyage across the Firth of Clyde, from Gourock to Kilcreggan on the Rosneath Peninsula.
From Kempock Point it doesn't take long before you're standing on the pier at Kilcreggan, where the sun shines, the sea breezes, and the soul sighs with contentment.
Great little cafe and bar at Kilcreggan, so you don't have to wander far for some great food and drink and views out over the waters of the Firth of Clyde back to where you came from.
In the video I walked from Kilcreggan along a track that skirted Portkil Point, up by Rosneath Home Farm and on towards the top of Gallow Hill. To be honest, it wasn't a great walk, as there was a scary road section with no pavement, and you coudn't actually reach the top of Gallow Hill. But all that said, there were great views of the whole area, from Loch Long to the Gare Loch, and over the water to places like Dunoon, Port Glasgow, Greenock and Helensburgh.
But as I say, you don't have to wander far from Kilcreggan. Just sit yourself down and sigh the sigh of a man or woman who has found peace, contentment, ice-cream, good food, and beer.
