This is something that has been very difficult for everyone especially Marines who are on active duty. Its hard for the Marine and his wife/girlfriend. I have experienced and its tough. I would personally suggest being single and leave any type of romance stuff until after the Marine Corps. I know its hard cause even I couldn't do it. It's also hard when you get dear John letters in marine corps bootcamp. I've personally seen recruit get destroyed by these letters and break down. Always strive to be the relationships that people see are considered relationship goals. Not saying to cater to everyone, but what I am saying is that true love brings the best part of everyone and every relationship and you guys will be able to fight through your issues. Love people like you're going to lose them, because when they are gone, it is going to hit you like a train and you will struggle to get back up. Relationships are a beautiful thing guys.
