Hello guys. For the past few days I've been working on my N54 powered BMW 335i E90.
Basically, doing full bolt on mods and routine maintenance like oil pan and valve cover gasket replacement.
After all of the work was successfully completed, I started up the car and right away I noticed that something was not quite right. The engine had a strong knocking sound coming from the internals.
When inspecting engine oil, my biggest fear conformed. There was a chopper bearing material inside the oil and that could mean only one thing - a spun rod bearing.
Please let me know in the comments if you have any idea how this could have happened, because I myself am very puzzled and shocked.
