Hasna’s Breast Cancer Journey: Living Longer Thanks to Clinical Trials at The Royal Marsden

Описание: When Hasna was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, she had just given birth to her second child. After surgery and treatment, she hoped cancer was behind her, however in 2016, she was told it had returned as secondary breast cancer and that she might only have two years to live.

Since 2017, Hasna has taken part in five clinical trials at The Royal Marsden. She’s currently on the PAveMenT trial - a targeted treatment which has successfully reduced the volume of her cancer by more than 50% and kept her disease stable since 2021.

Now aged 51, Hasna is not only a mother of three but also a proud grandmother of two. She credits research and the pioneering clinical trials at The Royal Marsden for giving her the chance to see her children grow up and meet her grandchildren.
