This video profiles U.S. Navy veteran Don Dickman and is dedicated to all Korean War veterans. It was produced by Wyatt Everhart, Chief Meteorologist for ABC 2 News, Baltimore, Maryland.
This production is posted here, by the Historical Research Group, part of the non-profit organization, the Community Development Cooperative, by permission. The Historical Research Group is seeking veterans, especially from World War 2, to be interviewed. The purpose of this posting is to show potential interviewees what is possible with video documentation of their recollections about their experiences in the military.
As an extension of this project, the Group is also seeking to interview people who have an historical familiarity with Redford Township, Michigan, or surrounding area. These are people who lived it or were involved in it, in any and all aspects. We are also collecting any material, photos, family history's, artifacts, etc. you may have in regards to the aforementioned.
