Tensions are growing between President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the Gaza war approach. The recent rise in tension began after a hot mic moment by President Biden at the State of the Union followed by an interview with MSNBC on Saturday where Biden said Israel is hurting its own cause with the high death toll of civilians in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu, sent a very clear message in regards to Israel's planned operation in Rafah, saying "we will go in there," also making it clear that no international pressure would stop Israel from carrying out the operation.
Criticism from Biden as well as Israel's other European allies is that the Rafah invasion would lead to a humanitarian catastrophe.
