Toughest Hike on Devon’s SWCP? CLOVELLY to HARTLAND QUAY

We are walking the 630 mile long South West Coast Path National Trail in England. In our opinion, Clovelly to Hartland Quay is the toughest stretch on the north Devon stretch of the SWCP, but you are rewarded by stunning views the closer you get to Hartland Quay. Hartland Quay itself is quite remote with only one hotel, but it’s a perfect way to break up your journey and rest those tired legs!

We plan to complete the entire route over coming months between work and everyday life, plus for logistical reasons, we may complete different stages of the route and fill in the gaps as we go along! We’ll share the entire route, interesting points of interest, plus if we feel it appropriate, we’ll also point out recommended accommodations and places to eat!
