This performance is such a cool transition piece. 💛✨
It starts with Benji dancing with his group, fully in his element on stage. Watching him move with confidence and rhythm always makes my heart swell.
Then comes the Dudes and Dames number — and this is where it gets really fun.
We open with “I Get a Kick Out of You,” classic and smooth… and then suddenly the record scratches and “I Like to Move It” bursts in. 😄 The energy shifts instantly.
Everyone takes off their button-up shirts and hand them to the kids, who disappear offstage. The adults are left looking around like, “What is happening?” before slowly starting to move with the new beat. And then the kids come back out and the whole stage transforms into full-on chaos and fun.
It’s playful, unexpected, and such a blast to be part of together. Moments like this — sharing the stage, sharing the joke, sharing the energy — are memories I treasure deeply.
Another performance I’ll always love watching back. 💛✨
