Interview with Hanover Displays: Automating PCBA testing with collaborative robots

Описание: Hanover designs and manufactures passenger information systems for the public transport industry. Whilst bringing the high-speed production of PCBs in-house, they faced the challenge of testing and inspecting the boards.

Hanover wanted to ensure the health and safety for operators, and decided to automate the repetitive process of testing 240,000 boards per year. With the support of Absolute Robotics, they deployed cobots that could interact with the manual test equipment and relieve operators, also running unmanned.
